Sons of Liberty Hosts Freedom Friday
Congratulations, you survived another rainy month of spring! Come on down to Sons of Liberty as they celebrate the beginning of a nice, long Memorial Day weekend with live music, food, and whiskey!
After another long month, Sons of Liberty is embracing the much-anticipated summer weather this Friday with the return of its monthly Freedom Friday series from 5-10pm in the distillery’s all-new tasting room.
The Sons of Liberty are proud to welcome Jeff’s Wood Fired Pizza for their first distillery appearance. Come on down and give them a warm welcome as you enjoy one of their fresh, grilled pizzas like The Grayson, made with Sons of Liberty Double IPA braised short ribs, Chicago style giardiniera, sun dried tomatoes, and Narragansett Creamery Atwells Gold.
The South Tower Strummers will also be making their distillery debut as they strum the night away with great live tunes. The band will play a variety of genres including rock, bluegrass and country music inspired by some of the most renowned artists including Bruce Springsteen, Johnny Cash and The Beatles, to name a few.
And of course, there will be beer, whiskey and cocktails! Aside from the distilleries distinguished whiskies, the bar will be featuring 7 handcrafted cocktails including the tropical Captain Chris’ Painkiller featuring their Battle Cry Whiskey. If you’re not a fan of hard booze, don’t stress! The distillery also will be featuring 8 beers on tap including the fan favorite Uprising Stout on Nitro (9% abv) and the new added New England Kolsch (4.5% abv).
Come on down, leave your rainy-day blues behind and pamper yourself with whiskey, beer and pizza! Admission is free of charge with food and drink available for purchase. Must be 21+ to attend.
