Sons of Liberty Releases Their Latest Whiskey Creation This Weekend at their Freedom Friday Party

Keep on celebrating the warm weather and make some more summer memories with Sons of Liberty by finishing off your work week with live music, finger-lickin’ BBQ and craft cocktails. The distillery welcomes back the unique sound of local artist, James DeSalvo III for a night of live music. He will be in the tasting room from 6-9pm providing the easy-listening tunes for the evening.

Make sure you eat a light lunch because Eddie’s BBQ is back! They will be serving up a variety of mouthwatering BBQ goodies that’ll put anything else you ate to shame. All good BBQ must be washed down with something, so why not wash it down with some of Sons of Liberty’s finest creations? The distillery welcomes the newest addition to their rotating cocktail menu – Mid Summer Hard Shandy. This beer and whiskey cocktail combines their Grapefruit Flavored Whiskey with their recently produced Grapefruit Shandy for a deliciously, refreshing drink. If that’s not your cup of shandy, they’re plenty of other cocktails and brews to choose from.

And last but certainly not least, the Sons of Liberty team is releasing a limited amount of their latest creation; 47 bottles of a Single Barrel, Cask Strength Peat Smoked Bourbon Whiskey. The whiskey is 126 proof containing 70% Rhode Island grown corn and 30% peat smoked malted barley. The Smoked Bourbon Whiskey is available to purchase for $75 per 750ml bottle. Remember, there is a limited amount!
