Rabiou, 19 months old, has been treated for malnutrition caused by diarrhea and candida vocal in the mouth—he is unable to swallow milk or water. He is at the stabilization center funded by Save the Children at the Aguie hospital in Niger. His mother Fatima was referred to the center by her local health center. After four days at Aguie, Rabiou's weight increased but was [at the time of this photo] still that of a child of 11 months. Fatima is also receiving health education and awareness training to learn how to feed Rabiou properly.
