by Bar Manager Tyler Schweppe, The Dorrance, Providence This is an exciting low-proof twist on a traditional 50/50 Martini that replaces high-proof vodka with an Italian aromatic amaro called Cynar that’s 16.5% alcohol and made with artichoke. This Martini is a bit more forgiving.

Ingredients

  • 1½ ounces Cynar
  • 1½ ounces Dolin Dry Vermouth
  • 1 dash orange bitters
  • Orange peel twist for garnish

Instructions

In a bar tin, stir liquid ingredients over ice for 15 seconds. Strain into a chilled cocktail glass. Garnish with a twist of orange peel. Makes 1 cocktail.
