This cocktail is zesty and quite warming, a nice counterbalance for those autumn evenings when there’s a chill in the air.

Ingredients

SERVINGS: 1 Cocktail
  • 1½ ounces gin
  • 2 ounces Tiger Tonic*
  • Soda water
  • Fresh citrus wheels or edible blossoms for garnish (I like Mexican mint marigold or micro marigolds)

Preparation

Combine gin and Tiger Tonic in bar tin, add ice, shake vigorously for 10 seconds, strain into rocks glass filled with ice and garnish with citrus wheels or edible blossoms.

*Tiger Tonic Peel and juice 8 ounces fresh turmeric. (Otherwise blend turmeric with ¼ cup water, fine-strain and discard solids.) Add turmeric juice to juice of 3 oranges and 2 lemons in a clean Mason jar, stir in ½ cup honey until dissolved. Cover and refrigerate for up to 1 week.
