Ingredients
SERVINGS: 1 Cocktail
- 1½ ounces vodka
- 1 ounce lemongrass syrup*
- ½ ounce triple sec or other orange liqueur
- ¾ ounce fresh lemon juice
- Sparkling wine to top
- Dehydrated lemon wheel for garnish (optional)
- Trimmed lemongrass stalk for garnish (optional)
Preparation
In a bar tin, add liquid ingredients except sparkling wine. Add ice, shake vigorously for 10 seconds and strain into a highball glass filled with ice. Top with sparkling wine and garnish with 2 slices of lemongrass secured with a cocktail clip and accent with a dehydrated lemon wheel.
Instructions
*Lemongrass Syrup In a blender, combine 2 chopped lemongrass stalks with 8 ounces each water and simple syrup. Blend on medium-high until the coarse lemongrass has been pulverized. Fine-strain into a clean bottle or jar and refrigerate up to 2 weeks.
