Ingredients
- 2 ounces Caledonia Spirits Barr Hill Gin
- ½ ounce lavender simple syrup*
- ½ ounce fresh-pressed lemon juice
- Fresh lavender sprig, for garnish
Preparation
Combine gin, simple syrup and lemon juice in a bar tin filled with ice. Shake vigorously for 10 seconds and strain into a chilled martini glass. Garnish with a sprig of fresh lavender. Makes 1 cocktail.
Lavender Simple Syrup*
Place 1 cup granulated sugar and 1 cup water in a small saucepan. Simmer to dissolve the sugar. Add 2 teaspoons fresh (or 1 teaspoon dried) lavender blossoms, remove from stove and infuse for 1 hour, until cool. Fine-strain into a clean bottle and refrigerate for up to 3 weeks.
