Rosemary Citrus Syrup
From the winter solstice to the Ides of March, I love how fresh citrus peel and herbaceous pine-scented rosemary pair up as the dynamic duo of winter revelry.

Ingredients
- 2 ounces vodka
- 1 ounce Rosemary Citrus Syrup (see below recipe)
- 1 ounce fresh-pressed lemon juice
- Fresh rosemary for garnish
Instructions
Sugar the rim of a cocktail glass and set aside. Combine vodka, syrup and lemon juice in a bar tin, add ice, shake vigorously for 10 seconds, strain into cocktail glass and garnish with fresh rosemary. Makes 1 cocktail.
