Sip, Shuck, & Swing

The best shuckin’ party in the Ocean State is back and better than ever on Saturday, January 14th, as Sons of Liberty hosts the latest installment of Sip, Shuck & Swing in the distillery’s all-new tasting room.

Sons of Liberty is welcoming the smooth sound of local jazz band, Spumante, to set the mood with live tunes inspired by some of the coolest guys in music history such as Miles Davis, John Coltrane and Charles Mingus.

South Kingstown’s very own TwoTen Oyster Bar & Grill is teaming up with their hometown distillery to sell delicious raw bar selections to all the shuckers in attendance.

Sons of Liberty will be serving their famed whiskey flights and beers on tap, including a Saison and Uprising Stout on nitro. The distillery will also be introducing a new cocktail to its bar lineup, a Barrel-Aged Bourbon Old Fashioned, made from Sons of Liberty’s New England Bourbon which is produced from 100% RI grown corn and aged in a 3-liter barrel for over a month.

The distillery will be open regular Saturday hours (1-9pm) and Sip, Shuck & Swing will take place from 5-8pm. No money needed at the door, only for drinks and raw bar.
