Sweet Indulgence Cupcakes From A to Z

Known as Kerri Cupcake, Kerri Fusco’s vision for her sweet shop and café, Sweet Indulgence, has always had a heavy emphasis on both of the words in the store’s name: sweet in the cupcakes, specialty cakes and dozens of other handmade confections; and indulgent in the extravagant themes for those treats—a seahorse rising out of aquamarine cupcake frosting for a Little Mermaid party; a blue and white floral wedding cake designed to match the invitation; a yellow beehive cake with buzzing bees.

The cupcakes are equally over-the-top: from apple pie, with cinnamon apples, to zeppole, filled with an Italian cream. The more than 50 flavors include chocolate sea salt caramel, peanut butter and jelly, Key lime pie and pink champagne buttercream with strawberry cake. Spring brings Fusco’s ever-active imagination into play with little bunny cake pops, cookie carrots and even cakes that look like Fabergé eggs.
