Ingredients
- 2 ounces Lyre’s Dry London Spirit (or Seedlip Garden 108)
- 2 ounces Sanbitter soda (available at Venda Ravioli or online)
- 2 ounces Spiced Currant Syrup*
- Orange peel ribbon for garnish
Instructions
Add ingredients (except garnish) to a mixing glass, stir over ice for 10 seconds, strain into a chilled cocktail glass and garnish with orange peel. Makes 1 drink.
*Spiced Currant Syrup: Heat 12 ounces currant juice in a small saucepan, add 2 large, peeled medallions fresh ginger; 1 teaspoon whole allspice; 6 whole cloves; and simmer 10 minutes over low heat. Remove from heat, let cool, strain, discard solids and funnel into a clean Mason jar. Refrigerate 2 weeks.
