Reverse Martini

This is a great drink to get the night started. It’s an easy sipper and you can experiment with adding blanc or sweet vermouth for a more floral or fruity flavor profile. Here I’ve provided the ratios rather than by the ounce so you can prepare a batch or an individual cocktail.

Ingredients

SERVINGS: Makes 1 or more cocktails
  • 2 parts white vermouth (dry, blanc or sweet vermouth are all good, too)
  • 1 part gin (I love Freeland Spirits Forest gin)
  • 2 dashes orange bitters
  • Lemon twist and green olives

Preparation

Combine vermouth, spirit and bitters in a mixing glass, add ice, stir for 15 seconds. Pour into a chilled coupe and serve garnish on the side in a small bowl.
