Il Bosco Manhattan

In the winter I always like doing a fresh take on the Manhattan. This recipe is earthy and rich with botanicals and toasty notes from the nocino.

Ingredients

  • 2 ounces South County Distillers rye whiskey 
  • 1 ounce sweet vermouth (I prefer Del Professore Sweet Vermouth)
  • 5 dashes nocino (black walnut liqueur)
  • Lemon peel and/or any fresh kitchen herbs for garnish

Preparation

Add whiskey, vermouth and nocino walnut liqueur to a mixing glass. Add ice and stir for 15 seconds. Serve over fresh ice in a rocks glass. Makes 1 cocktail.
